We arrived at the field with little hope of decent weather but David had assured us that this year would be windy. The crowds were already arriving in their hundreds as we set up our kites. This festival has so much to see and do from inflatable castles and sumo suits, climbing walls, bmx demos, dog shows, an amazing motorcyle demo all the way from Sweden, some fantastic live music, in fact you name it, its probably there! No sooner had we set our kites up and started buggying along the field, the queues starting forming to have a go. It was amazing to get so many people flying and we didn't even get to stop for dinner! All in all we must have got through at least 200 people, ranging from 5 year olds up to pensioners.
The feedback was really good and it was so much fun to finally give people the buzz of powerkiting that so many of us love! David informed us that over 5,000 attended the festival through the day and you can be sure that Flexifoil will be there again next year with a bigger presence and more riders so hopefully even more people can get flying. See you there!
