Paddle Round the Pier 2012

Flexifoil were flying the flag for kitesurfing at the 2012 Paddle Round the Pier event on Brighton & Hove seafront. Despite the Glastonbury-like conditions, an estimated 25,000 people made it to Europe’s largest free beach festival, now in its 16th year. Early estimates are of around £16,000 raised for its charities.

Intrepid visitors to the Flexifoil and Kitesurf Kings stand were rewarded for their journey with free copies of Kiteworld Magazine and Flexifoil t-shirts. Flexifoil also provided free taster sessions on the designated kite beach, many stoked "Paddle" goers took their first steps into kitesports using 2.4m Quark kitesurfing trainer kites.
