Sy's passion for kite buggying is blazingly obvious from his riding skills, his videos as well as his countless hours passing on his obsession through teaching. Sy takes an active role in keeping local flying spots open as well as opening up more and more new areas for kiters.
He started kiting over 10 years ago when his friend sold him a Stacker 10. The maiden launch was in silly winds and was followed by a constant obsession to master kiting! His buggy passion lies in freeriding and varying terrain and locations as much as he can.
Sy was the first to have two front covers on Powerkite magazine and the first I-Kite cover. His videos are his other major achievement. Sy has had them showcased on numerous TV shows, cinema showings and even in a Harrods window display! We will soon be seeing a new kite addict hit the scene in the form of Mr Leonard Junior!
