Fear is your friend
A certain amount of fear is a good thing for powerkiters. It makes your reactions faster and means you’re less likely to do something stupid. It’s also a good way to monitor your progress - if a particular move doesn’t frighten you any more it’s time to move on.
Being scared is natural. If you feel no fear then you probably don’t understand the very real dangers involved - even the most experienced powerkiter gets scared when pushing the limits. The secret is to use your fear to help identify potential dangers and thereby avoid them.
