The legend? the innovator? the creator of freestyle buggying! Rob Hills is a humble, unpretentious, and relaxed individual. It is easy to forget what a huge impact he had on kite buggying when you are in his presence.
Rob was the brains, the bumps and the bruises behind many of the freestyle buggy moves you see today and was the inventor of the Flexifoil buggy. His kite skills on the land or water are second to none; Rob is a dream to watch with his fluid, powerful and unique style.
You will find Rob on the beaches of North Wales on any windy days, beavering away as an engineer, or riding his motorbike or mountain bike around the dreamy roads and hills of North Wales. If you bump into Rob at any point, be sure to ask him to divulge some words of kiting wisdom!
